All India Medical Scholarship Entrance Test (AIMSET)

AIMSET is a nationwide merit-based scholarship test in India that offers financial aid to students pursuing science and medicine. Undergraduate medical students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, especially members of minority communities, are eligible for internal financial aid from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in Delhi. The purpose of the grant is to assist deserving students who encounter financial difficulties while pursuing their MBBS degrees. Students studying in Class 12 should show up in AIMSET. Science students passed the 12th grade can apply for the AIMSET. 

Eligibility

  • A minimum aggregate of 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology is required for 10+2 coursework. 
  • To be admitted to this course, a candidate must have a satisfactory percentile on the CET, AIPMET, or AIMEE.
  •  In India, students must be between the ages of 17 and 25 to enroll in this course. 

Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarships For College And University Students

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, grants the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students based on the outcomes of the Class XII Board Examination and Higher Secondary. For graduate students, a maximum of 82,000 new scholarships are awarded annually.   postgraduate degrees in colleges and universities, as well as professional programs like medical, engineering, etc. The primary objective of the scholarship is to give money to deserving students from low-income households so they may cover some of their daily costs while they pursue higher education. 

Eligibility

  • Students in Class XII of the 10+2 pattern or above the 80th percentile of successful applicants in the appropriate stream from the relevant Board of Examinations
  • Undertaking conventional degree programs rather than diploma programs or correspondence, or remote learning
  • Attending universities or other establishments approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education and the relevant regulatory bodies
  • Not taking advantage of any additional scholarship programs, such as state-run programs or fee waiver and reimbursement programs
  • Scholarships under the program are available to students whose gross family or parental income is up to Rs. 4.5 lakh annually. Only new applicants will need to provide an income certificate. 

Financial Assistance For Education To The Wards Of Beedi/Cine/Iomc/Lsdm- Post Matric

NSP Post Matric Financial Assistance for Education has been made available to the Beedi/Cine/lock/LSDM Wards by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Each year, the scholarship will range from 1000 to 25,000 rupees. Through a direct benefit transfer, the scholarship will be deposited into the recipients’ bank accounts. The beneficiary’s parents should not earn more than 10,000 rupees annually. In the past year, the applicant should have earned more than $10,000 each month. 

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this program, the candidate must be a ward of a Beedi, Cine, Iomc, or Lsdm employee. 
  • The applicant’s family’s monthly income shouldn’t be more than 10,000 rupees annually.
  • The candidate ought to have passed the most current test the first time. 
  • The government must acknowledge the educational establishment. 
  • Students who get scholarships or stipends from other sources will not be eligible for them under this program.

ONGC Scholarship

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation created this esteemed scholarship program to help gifted students from economically disadvantaged families in India who want to pursue further education in a variety of subjects, including engineering, technology, and management. However, they are unable to do so due to financial difficulties of any kind. In addition to helping the student finish their higher education, this scholarship relieves their financial load and enables them to live better lives free from financial constraints.   • The candidate must be an Indian permanent resident. 
  • The candidate must be a member of the SC/ST group. 
  • Any student, regardless of gender, is eligible to apply for a scholarship.

This scholarship encourages STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education in India and supports the nation’s efforts to develop its workforce. To compensate their educational expenses, first-year MBBS students at government colleges are eligible to receive up to Rs. 1,00,000 per year for a maximum of 4.5 years. A division of GSK plc, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited (GSK Pharma) is a medical organization devoted to illness prevention. GSK Pharma has been producing vaccines and medications to enhance health in India for almost a century. 

Eligibility

  • The candidate must be an Indian permanent resident. 
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a government college’s first year of the MBBS program.
  • Candidates should have passed the Class 12 board exams with at least 65% of the possible points. 
  • A family’s total yearly income shall not exceed Rs. 6,00,000. 
  • Children of Buddy4Study and GSK Pharma workers are not eligible to apply. 

STEM Stars Scholarship

The STEM Stars Scholarship Program 2025 was started by the Infosys Foundation to support worthy and intelligent Indian women students who wish to continue their further studies. Women who wish to pursue undergraduate degrees in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) will be awarded the prize. Female students enrolling in a 4-year STEM program are eligible to earn a full scholarship of up to ₹1 lakh per year if they meet the prerequisites. Tuition, study materials, and housing expenses are all covered by the STEM Starts Scholarship 2025.

  • Candidates must be Indian permanent residents and female students. 
  • The candidate has to have completed their 12th grade at an accredited institution.
  •  Students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics should participate in first-year graduation programs. 
  • The yearly household income of the candidates must be at least Rs. 8,000,000. 
  • Students pursuing engineering or related subjects must have a CGPA of at least 7.

MEXT scholarship


These scholarship programs are intended to improve the educational and research capacities of Japanese universities, foster international intellectual contributions, foster mutual understanding and the development of human networks with other nations, and accept outstanding human resources from other nations—including India—as international students in Japan. All applications for scholarships offered by the Japanese Government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT) are processed through Japanese embassies, consulates, or universities in Japan. 

Eligibility 

  • Candidates must be citizens of a country with diplomatic ties to Japan. 
  • Program-specific age restrictions differ. 
  • For undergraduate programs, applicants must have completed 12 years of education or have an equivalent certification. In most cases, a bachelor’s degree or above is necessary for postgraduate or research studies.

Islamic Development Bank Scholarships
