A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backwards Class students of Chhattisgarh who are currently enrolled in class 11th, 12th, or higher education level. Through the implementation of CG Post Matric Scholarship 2025, meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses. Students who got selected under the CG Post Matric Scholarship 2025 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration.
The registration process will be started on 22nd September 2023 and it will end on 20th October 2023. Overview of CG Post Matric Scholarship
The CG Post Matric Scholarship is introduced by the Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste for the SC/ST/OBC students for financially supporting students. The SC/ST students will get a scholarship amount up to Rs. 2,250 to 3,800 per year. The OBC students will get Rs. 1,000 to 700 per year; this scholarship amount will depend on the students who are hostellers or day scholars. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.
- The annual family income of candidates from the SC/ST community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh and OBC students’ annual family income should be less than Rs. 1 lakh.
